So many of us are calibrated to a larger “Context”, but don’t know it and haven’t recognized the need for this “Greater Context” yet. For many, this may be what fuels their search and why no matter what/who/where, life seems somewhat confusing or out of focus. It’s almost like a pair of glasses that you need in order to see clearly, but that you are not wearing.

I often wonder how many people would say or ask of of themselves, if they were so aware, “Yes, I am a greater-community-whole-world kind of person?”

Just hearing the Voice of the New Message speak the words “Greater Community” for the first time years ago, turned on a flood light in my mind. The haze, the diffusion and conflicting perspectives and goals subsided for a moment. I thought to myself, “Oh God, that’s it! “The Greater Community.” And then a feeling of gigantic relief, “I can finally be here. The missing piece is missing no more for me. I accept this place. I can be here. Home has been here all along with everything else. This place, this world is part of a Greater Community and so am I….”

Chapter 2 of Preparing for the Greater Community mentions the word “context” some 19 times. I encourage you to go read it again. So many people are calibrated to this “Greater Context”, but don’t even know their unconscious search for this major missing piece is fueling their hesitancy in life— indecision, ambivalence, distrust, questioning, doubting, inability to commit or more. There really is a critical missing piece for them, a Greater Context. For some it is God of the Greater Community. For others it is the vast, limit-less, greater intelligence of Knowlege. For many of us it several of these or all of them at once!
