I did not realize that idea was attributed to the Bible. I had to take stock to realize how deeply embedded it was and still is in my thinking, at great risk of confusion of levels. It helps when we realize the created universe is a physical experience, where life in the physical manifests the same subsistence needs and the same developmental trajectories throughout the universe, but the application of life's reality might not have any bearing on spiritual matters. It is inevitable, I believe, that the cross-contamination of ideas will persist--in some mentalities more than others.--Mary s (talk) 21:39, 3 August 2020 (UTC)
