I really want to be able to paraphrase for brevity, and then cite long quotes at the bottom of the page. However, I don't know the best way to do this, especially since footnote numbering will all get messed up when you add new ones out of order. Any ideas? I'm tempted by the cite extension but it'll take some work. Will 09:40, 7 November 2011 (PST)
- Any other issues with cite extension? Delegating the work to one individual could be a spot fix. I.e., I could take it on (with some help translating the technical instructions provided by Mediawiki), following up on Recent changes. I find myself loathe to paraphrase except to outline and would be happy if a more advanced student could do it. Mary s 11:02, 8 November 2011 (PST)
