The Great Waves of change are the converging crises facing humanity in the years and decades to come: climate change, resource depletion, economic, social and political.
Second only to humanity's emergence into the Greater Community, the Great Waves constitute the greatest threat humanity as a whole has ever faced. The dangers of the Great Waves of change are made worse by the Greater Darkness, which is the extraterrestrial Intervention exploiting humanity's weakness and fragmentation to gain control over humanity and Planet Earth.
