Mandates for the World

While the New Message from God offers insight and perspective on many aspects of life, it also declares what must be, both at the level of the individual and the level of the entire world. These could be considered commandments, directives, mandates, or guidelines; below are the directives for the world.

"You are going to have to cool the planet—a task far beyond what has ever been achieved, but still achievable. But it will require a radical redistribution of resources, a redirection of human will and purpose, a great utilization of all of humanity’s science and capabilities.

You are going to have to cool the planet. It will change everything that humanity is doing right now. You will have to replant the forests and restore the soils and cleanse the rivers. People will have to live very simply, for all the wealth of the world will be spent on this."

You must pay attention

"You must pay attention to changing climate and violent weather."

"You are preparing for the Greater Community. This is one of the great needs of your time. If nations understood these things, human conflict would end. Human surveillance of the skies would become not just a matter for secret government agencies but it would be a responsibility for citizens everywhere."

You must become alert to the alien Intervention

"You would see that to prepare for the Greater Community" ... "people would have to be educated."

"The first step in counteracting the Intervention is awareness, but the awareness really is a big threshold because of people’s fear, anxiety and failed idealism. Can you face your own fear? Can you face your own vulnerability? Can you face the fact that perhaps you have been really wrong in your assessment of the situation, if you have given it any thought at all? People may say, “Well, ok, we get the awareness. Now what’s the next thing?” Ha! They don’t see that the awareness is really big!"

You must cease all war

"You would see that to prepare for the Greater Community, war would have to be stopped."

You must unite to solve global problems

"To prepare for the Greater Community" ... "nations would have to come together to establish plans for mutual benefit and security."

You must restore and protect your natural environment

"Peoples of the world, this is your time and reality. If you are to prevent war and the breakdown of human civilization, you must build and restore the world—the ground beneath your feet, the clarity of your waters, the clarity of your air, the richness of your soil."

"To restore the world, you will have to restore its diversity and protect its diversity that is remaining. One third of all the lands will have to be kept in a wild state—at least one third. The waters will have to be cleansed. The air will have to be clean. You will have to turn your refuse into useful material. You will have to preserve your resources. You will have to rebuild your soils, or humanity’s future is predictable and catastrophic."

"Now you must prove that you are good stewards of the world. Now you must unite for the survival of humanity and for the well-being of humanity. Now your nations must cooperate to make sure that everyone has the basic provisions. Now the wealthy must realize their responsibility to take care of other people."

"It is your responsibility to learn of the natural world and to use it effectively, in a manner that can be sustained."

"Half the world’s forests should be preserved. Fuel should be rationed. It should have been rationed twenty years ago. You will have to control human population growth and human consumption if you are ever able to attain stability and security."

"All of humanity’s armaments and all of its technological skill will have to be employed now to protect the world from the outside and to restore the world’s productivity and biological balance here in the world."

"The world must be restored, not only to provide for the fundamental needs of people today and in the future, but also to secure humanity's freedom in a universe where freedom is rare. For you must be self-sufficient in this universe, or you will become dependent upon others and they more than you will determine the terms of engagement and your ability to create and to determine your own future."

"The lands that can produce food must be very carefully cultivated and protected."

You must limit consumption

"Today humanity is like the locust in the field, devouring everything in sight, assuming there will always be new fields."

"Overconsumption is the engine of war."

"Eventually humanity will have to limit its population through humane means and have to limit consumption because the world’s limits will be forcing this upon the conditions of people everywhere."

You must limit human population

"Eventually humanity will have to find humane and ethical ways to limit its population."

You must educate people

"The Greater Community education must begin. The time is late, the hour is late, and the situation grows darker and more difficult with each passing day."

"The people of your world must know that you are emerging now into a Greater Community of intelligent life, a Greater Community that you know nothing about and have not yet adapted to."

You must provide for people

"The wealthy will have to take care of people."

"Take 20% of your wealth and spend it on taking care of people."

"Nations must take care of their people instead of trying to assert themselves over other nations."

"You will have to find ways to provide enough food, water and energy for the people of the world. That will be the prevailing and dominating need of the future here on Earth."

"The wealthy had best contribute most of their wealth to social welfare here because otherwise you will have revolution. The wealthy will be preyed upon, and there will be little to protect them."

You must take in displaced people

"There will be great human migration all over the world. Some of it will be normal, but most of it will have to be organized and agreed to between nations. If nations close their doors to the displaced peoples, it will be a tragedy never seen before. And this tragedy will despoil the world in war and conflict."

"Wealthier nations will have to receive the people who are escaping areas that have been devastated or where food production can no longer take place. The areas of the world where humanity will be able to live will shrink, forcing millions of people to move elsewhere and to resettle."

You must preserve human civilization

"All people in the world must now work for the preservation of civilization and for the well-being of the world."

You must defend your world

"All of humanity’s armaments and all of its technological skill will have to be employed now to protect the world from the outside and to restore the world’s productivity and biological balance here in the world."

"Everyone must face the Intervention."

You must reveal extraterrestrial abduction

"You are preparing for the Greater Community." ... "If nations understood these things" ... "The taking of people against their will would be revealed and the Intervention would be exposed. It is relying upon human submission and human ignorance. If it is exposed it must withdraw."

"You must learn who is flying in your skies, who is taking your people against their will, this cannot be a deep dark secret now, it must come out into the open so that people can see it and understand it clearly. For as we have said it is not a mystery, it is a concealed truth, concealed by many forces."

You must stop broadcasting into the Greater Community

"You cannot be broadcasting your conflicts and your fantasies and your absurd interactions out into space."

You must prepare for the Greater Community

"You would see that to prepare for the Greater Community, war would have to be stopped, people would have to be educated and nations would have to come together to establish plans for mutual benefit and security. The eyes of the world would have to turn outward to watch, to report, to be discerning, to take great care as to who is here and what they are doing. This could no longer be the focus of some secret government group, elite group of scientists or some religious affiliation that has taken an interest in these matters. Everyone should be watching, listening and learning."

"For this world to become unified as one nation will involve untold violence, and yet it is a prospect that many cherish. Indeed, it is not only a cherished prospect, it is a necessity. Exposure to the Greater Community will bring this about. You cannot be at variance within your world and successfully encounter forces from beyond."

"Knowingly or not, willingly or not, you are preparing for the Greater Community. This is one of the great needs of your time. If nations understood these things human conflict would end.
