The Responsibility of this Messenger

"He must proclaim, call and teach all dimensions of this Revelation to the world. He must perceive the opportunities and pitfalls ahead for the Worldwide Community into the deep future. He must guide the Society and be a source of inspiration and encouragement. He must prepare for his genuine relationship with greater and greater numbers of people all over the world. He must engage directly with the world, its environments, its cultures of people , its condition. He must uphold the health of his mind and his body, and all that they have endured with him. And back in the direction of Heaven, he must be responsive to the Angelic Assembly and be prepared to receive their communications on a moment's notice. "

He "is here to warn of the great change that is coming to the world and to strengthen the human spirit and human confidence, to call upon human cooperation and human awareness, and to provide the inner preparation so that others can become strong with the power and the presence of Knowledge, which is God’s great endowment to each person."

Receive the Revelation

"The Messenger is here to provide the Revelation. It has taken him decades to receive it. It will take decades for it to be recognized in the world. But the problem is time. Humanity does not have much time to prepare for a new world and for Contact with life in the universe—Contact which is occurring already, Contact with a dangerous purpose and intention."

"He has had to go through a long preparation, and a very mysterious preparation, until he was ready, until he could be trusted and was reliable, until his life was in order sufficiently to receive the largest Revelation ever given to this world and to accept the mantle of responsibility. A great mantle it is. He had to be ready to receive it so it would not crush him or overwhelm him or oppress him."

Record the Voice of Revelation

"Aided by modern technology, the actual Voice of Revelation can be heard and recorded so there will be no confusion or controversy about the accuracy and the authenticity of this great Revelation for the world."

Prepare the text of the Revelation

"Preparing the Revelation is just one of Marshall’s tasks."

"I, along with the members of the Society, are working continuously on preparing the revelations meant to be given to the world. It is important that I have prepared these revelations as I see necessary. As the revelations are made ready they will come forward one by one, in compilations and as whole books. At the conclusion of my life I will confer full oversight and responsibility for this process to Patricia and Reed…My preparing the New Message teachings and books will be the first time that the Messenger has approved the Message that was sent out into the world—a great need and clarification. This is part of my duty now."

Proclaim the Revelation

"While the world goes about its daily affairs, the Messenger must proclaim. He must proclaim God’s New Revelation, for it holds the key to so many people’s lives and future."

Establish the Revelation

"The Messenger has had to compile the Revelation to protect it, to learn of it, to comprehend it sufficiently [so] that he can proclaim it and teach it and correct all the inevitable misunderstandings and objections that will arise."

"It is part of his role now to clarify the Revelation; to dispel those myths and misconceptions that would prevent people from having a clear and direct understanding; to bring the Revelation together; to organize it so it can be presented clearly with the greatest possibility of being recognized and accepted in a world of ever greater dissonance and discord and anxiety."

Present a New Reality

"The Messenger brings a whole new reality into this world."

Correct

"He is not merely a prophet or a teacher or an advocate. He brings a whole new reality and great correction and clarification to what God has provided before in the great Revelations for the human family."

"The Messenger will not condemn religions of the world, but he will provide in contrast the very essence of their Teachings that has been lost, or forgotten or denied."

Speak

"God has sent a great Messenger into the world to receive and to present God’s New Revelation."

Demonstrate

"People do not see, they do not hear. They are strangers to themselves. And their native skills of discerning the environment, for many, have been lost and are undeveloped. This makes the Messenger’s task more difficult. He must carry the Mystery, for the Revelation is beyond the realm of the intellect and certainly is not conditioned by people’s expectations, beliefs or comprehension."

"His presence here is to serve as a demonstration and as a presentation of the wisdom and the love of God and the great challenges that are now facing the human family, for which humanity is not prepared."

What he does not

"He is not here to proclaim himself as a ruler or a leader or a great power."

"He is not here to claim political power, economic power, to displace other people or to overthrow anyone."

"His mission is not to build bridges or change governments or rectify every problem and error and injustice in the world."

"The Messenger is not here to condemn nations and governments and institutions."

"He is not here to answer every question or to have a solution for every need."

"The Messenger is not here to argue or to debate or to take issue with world affairs or the ambitions of different groups, nations or tribes. He is here to bring a Message of Revelation and redemption to the peoples of the whole world, regardless of their individual cultural position or religious affiliation, if they have one at all."
